SeaHelp boat christening on the Baltic Sea: Fast help in the Lübbeck Bay
Almost exactly six years ago to the day, SeaHelp started out on the Baltic Sea with just a handful of bases and two open inflatable boats with two 115 hp Yamaha engines. As the number of members grew, so did the power of the engines at the stern. After two 140 hp Suzuki engines on the rescue boats, SeaHelp now put its new flagship for Germany into service on the Baltic Sea on the occasion of the hanseboot ancora boat show: two Yamaha engines, each with 300 hp, bring the new Technomarine-RIB, which can reach speeds of up to 48 knots, to the skippers in need of help at a virtual rush.
Fuel problems in the Mediterranean: Diesel plague on the rise
Figures do not lie: Fuel problems were one of the main reasons for Sea-Help’s operations around the Mediterranean last summer. Mostly sailing yachts were affected, but also motor yachts with diesel engines.
SeaHelp Boat Christening at the hanseboot ancora: From now on also on the Baltic Sea fast help with 600 HP
On Saturday, 26th May 2018 at 12.00 hrs, as part of the hanseboot ancora boat show 2018 in Neustadt, a new SeaHelp rescue boat for the Baltic Sea will be christened at jetty V 45. We cordially invite all SeaHelp members and interested parties to attend. Depending on availability, SeaHelp members can of course also take a ride on the 600 hp RIB from the Polish shipyard Technomarine, which is equipped with the most modern tools, to see for themselves the performance of the new SeaHelp-Ostsee GmbH rescue boat.
SeaHelp on site: Internautica Portoroz
Small – but nice! This is probably the best way to describe the Internautica in the Slovenian town of Portoroz, which will present itself to visitors in the Marina Portoroz from 17 to 20 May. SeaHelp, the nautical breakdown service of the Adriatic Sea, will of course also be represented with a stand where visitors can find out about its services.
Practice makes perfect: Skipper training for emergency services
Practice makes perfect – a wisdom that of course also applies to SeaHelp operators. At the beginning of each water sports season, Operations Manager Marko Orlic gathers his staff in Punat, Croatia, for skipper training.
