This year, the Austrian Boat Show Boot Tulln 2021 will also fall victim to the corona pandemic: due to the persistently high infection figures in Austria, the organizer has decided to cancel the extremely popular boat show for 2021.
Austrian Boat Show Boot Tulln 2021 will not take place
The announcement of the Austrian Boat Show Boot Tulln 2021 says: “Unfortunately, with the beginning of the year 2021, it has become clear that the current infection figures were not declining and the latest development around the Covid-19 mutation does not allow any prospect of improvement of the current situation until the beginning of March. As a show organizer, we have to take this situation into account. The Austrian Boat Show – BOOT TULLN with exhibitors from 15 countries and visitors from all parts of Austria and beyond the national borders, can not run under the given conditions according to expectations safely and successfully.”
Planning security also for exhibitors
Due to the planning security that you as exhibitors and we as organizers need for this high-quality exhibition with a very high level of investment in the organization and application, we see ourselves with a heavy heart forced to suspend the Austrian Boat Show – BOOT TULLN 2021 and move it to March 3 to 6, 2022!”
Responsible decision by the organizer
A responsible decision, especially in light of the highly infectious viral mutations rampant in some European countries. However, this decision should not have any impact on the upcoming water sports season: From the point of view of infection, it already makes a huge difference whether people are in closed exhibition halls or in marinas on ships.
