Empuriabrava (Spanish Ampuriabrava), is not only a suburb of the municipality of Castell\u00f3 d’Emp\u00faries on the Gulf of Roses in the province of Girona in Catalonia (Spain), in the marina of the settlement located about two kilometers from Castell\u00f3 d’Emp\u00faries on the Costa Brava is also the largest marina in Europe, where traditionally the used boat show Fira of Feixell d’ Ocassi\u00f3 takes place.<\/p>\n

From April 9 to 17 (9 days, Saturday to Easter Sunday), after two years of forced break due to the Covid pandemic, now runs the 32nd edition of the used boat show; on display will be boats up to 16 meters in length, inflatable boats of various lengths and a wide range of jet skis.<\/p>\n

SeaHelp presents itself at the fair, which is open daily from 10 am to 7 pm, under new regional management Costabrava: from now on the water sports enthusiast, passionate diver and ISO certified boat expert Axel Albrot is responsible for Empuriabrava and the Fira of Feixell d’ Ocassi\u00f3.<\/p>\n

“Normally the Fira of Feixell d’ Ocassi\u00f3 is the largest used boat show in mainland Spain<\/em>,” says Albrot, after the show was cancelled in the last two years, they are very happy that this year, organized by the marina itself, the show will finally start again on a smaller scale with about 250 used boats.<\/p>\n

SeaHelp is a partner of the fair and will show the modern, fully equipped Humber 850 rescue boat<\/h3>\n

Albrot: “The boat not only has a large bollard at the stern, where boats weighing 100 tons have hung, we also have one of the most modern plotters as well as AIS on board, three radios and, of course, tools to be able to provide rapid assistance<\/em>“. In addition, he said, there are also special fire extinguishers on board for all eventualities, a powerful motor pump that manages about 300,000 liters per hour, gasoline, diesel, as well as a booster for empty batteries.<\/p>\n
