SeaHelp, the nautical breakdown service, informs about the wide range of services for SeaHelp members at the Fira of Feixell d’ Ocassi\u00f3 in Empuriabrava from April 1 to 9, 2023; new members save: they receive a discount on the first annual fee of ten percent at the fair.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the Catalan marina Empuriabrava, about two kilometers from Castell\u00f3 d’Emp\u00faries located on the Costa Brava, runs again this year traditionally in the Easter week the used boat-fair Fira of Feixell d’ Ocassi\u00f3<\/a>. From April 1 to 9 (9 days, Saturday to Easter Sunday), the now 33rd edition of the fair will feature boats up to 16 meters in length, inflatable boats of various lengths and a wide range of jet skis, among others.<\/p>\n

SeaHelp will also be there again with its own stand<\/a>; base manager and SeaHelp contact for the Costabrava region, Axel Albrot, will answer visitors’ questions at the fair from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day and provide information on the latest regulations for sport skippers in the region. Advantage: as Albrot is also an ISO-certified boat surveyor and responsible for the Fira of Feixell d’ Ocassi\u00f3, he is also happy to answer technical questions.<\/p>\n

SeaHelp will be presenting the Humber 850 response boat (boat length 8.50 meters) at the fair, which is equipped with a 5.7 liter Volvo Penta diesel inboard engine and is used for all types of relief operations. “The boat has a powerful engine, a modern plotter as well as AIS on board, three radios and of course tools to be able to provide rapid assistance”<\/em>, says Albrot.<\/p>\n

In addition, there are fire extinguishers on board for all cases, a powerful motor pump that creates about 300,000 liters per hour, gasoline, diesel and a booster for empty batteries.<\/p>\n

Also on site will be SeaHelp insurance specialist Robert Perger<\/a>, who will provide information on the benefits of SeaHelp insurance and why it’s worth switching to SeaHelp-Insurance right now.
