As in previous years, on Tuesday, 16 July 2024, the Croatian Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure will carry out a coordinated action to strengthen the monitoring of maritime safety called “Safe Navigation”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Attention sports skippers! Next Tuesday, 16 July, a Coast Guard boat could come alongside and ask them to stop their boat, show their papers and let officers on board to check the number and condition of the prescribed items of equipment.<\/p>\n

The reason for this possible scenario is a “coordinated action to strengthen the monitoring of safety at sea called “Safe Shipping”, which the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure is organising, as in previous years.<\/p>\n

The campaign will run from 9 am to 6 pm and “all harbour master’s offices from Pula to Dubrovnik” will be involved, reports the Adriatic web portal morski.hr<\/a>.<\/p>\n
