A SeaHelp membership provides comprehensive all-round protection for almost any problem that may befall a skipper and his crew. Whether towing assistance, starting assistance, fuel service, spare parts delivery, towing free in case of light grounding, freeing lines in the propeller, passenger transport, weather and district advice, up to telephone support in medical emergencies, the nautical breakdown service is available to its members 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (366 days in leap years) with advice and assistance. With the SeaHelp emergency call app, the operations centre can be informed quickly, easily and reliably, even when things are hectic on board.

The membership refers to the registered vessel on the application form, regardless who is a skipper and the person who signed the application form can use the free services for any other vessel up to the agreed length.

Towing to the nearest workshop or crane

Towing the boat is "FREE" for every SeaHelp member from the scene of the accident to the nearest workshop or crane facility. If the boat cannot be refloated there, towing from Marina to Marina will be charged.

Towing free in case of slight grounding

Every SeaHelp member is towed "FREE OF CHARGE" from the scene of the accident. The grading from light to heavy grounding is as follows: If the vessel does not protrude from the water by more than 10 centimetres (4 inches) more than usual and is fit to sail again after being towed free, then it is considered light grounding.

Weather & area advice

Our captains on the hotline have constant access to the latest weather data on the Internet and pass this on to our members "FREE OF CHARGE" at any time. Our captains are also well informed about the Croatian coast and also give information about the area "FREE OF CHARGE".

Passenger transport

Each crew member will be picked up from the boat "FREE OF CHARGE" and taken to the nearest land port. (1x per season!)
In case of injury or illness, the Operations Centre will organise an ambulance or a doctor via SAR for further treatment. SeaHelp is not a rescue organisation and can only provide transport.

Spare parts delivery

The procurement of necessary spare parts and their delivery, if they are needed for the continuation of the navigation on the member's boat (the parts must be paid by the member, in cash in the respective national currency). For spare parts that are not necessary for the continuation of navigation, the delivery must be paid according to the SH price list.

Sometimes it can be a little more: For those who not only want to be towed to the nearest marina, but prefer another marina for personal reasons, SeaHelp will tow up to 30nm free of charge.

If the other person suddenly does not want to or cannot understand English, the SeaHelp translation service will help. By the way: The official language in Croatia is Croatian.

Anchor - diving up to 7m depth

When the anchor gets stuck at a depth of seven metres, the diving professionals at SeaHelp have to go for it. Not every skipper can work at depth without equipment.

Telemedical support

In the event of an incident on board that affects the health of the crew, every minute can count in an emergency. Until then, an emergency paramedic helps by telephone.

SeaHelp non-attribution discount

Upon completion of membership, members receive a no-claims discount of 2% per claim-free year, which is built up to a maximum of 20% after ten years in the first year of membership.

Events that influence the no-claims bonus are exclusively interventions, not telephone information. After an intervention, a new billing period begins, during which the discount is rebuilt as it was when SeaHelp membership was concluded.
