From February 26 to March 1, Austria’s most significant nautical trade fair, also serving Central and Eastern Europe, welcomed more than 36,000 water sports enthusiasts. SeaHelp was present with its own stand – and drew a positive conclusion.

The Austrian BoatShow – Boot Tulln 2026 is traditionally the central meeting point for water sports enthusiasts from all over Austria and beyond. Under the motto “Experience Water Sports,” 300 exhibitors presented motor, electric, and sailing boats, charter opportunities, fun sports, and dream destinations, as well as equipment and accessories.

300 exhibitors from 23 nations participated in the fair, and 36,342 trade visitors and water sports fans came to gather information. Electromobility on the water was a particular focus: alongside the world premiere of the Marian EVO 700, visitors could marvel at the Austrian premiere of the new Frauscher x Porsche 790 Spectre. Additionally, Mirakul showcased its new 40 HT, and Bayliner fans saw the new V20i model.

Important for the sailing community: For the first time, numerous class associations presented themselves at Boot Tulln to promote a successful entry into racing and youth development. The sailing competence center was complemented by a modern cruising yacht – the Hanse 360.

There was also a comprehensive range of products in the areas of canoeing and kayaking, fun and diving sports, tourism, charter, and accessories. Furthermore, many visitors took advantage of more than 200 specialist lectures and participated in trade fair workshops.

“The results for Boot Tulln 2026 are very positive. With this concept, we have reacted to the current challenges in the market and were once again able to offer our trade visitors a fair of the highest quality across all segments,” said Wolfgang Strasser, Managing Director of Messe Tulln, expressing his satisfaction after the event.

He added that “first successful measures for the next generation and for sustainable development” had been implemented, which are to be “continued together with the industry.”

“The Austrian BoatShow – Boot Tulln opened the upcoming water sports season and, despite challenging framework conditions, sent a positive signal to its exhibitors,” added trade fair director Michaela Brunner.

SeaHelp drew a positive balance of the fair; approx. 20 percent more visitors than in the previous year were recorded at the stand

SeaHelp Managing Director Wolfgang Dauser, whose company is traditionally represented with its own stand at Boot Tulln, also drew a positive conclusion from the fair: “For us, as Europe’s largest nautical breakdown service, it is a matter of course to participate in Austria’s number one water sports fair with our own stand,” said Wolfgang Dauser, who noted a “leap in quality” compared to the previous year’s fair and was able to welcome “approx. 20 percent more visitors than in 2025” to the stand.

“At Boot Tulln, we meet many familiar and new visitors from home and abroad every year; the fair is thus an important highlight in our annual calendar, where countless customer consultations and comprehensive information on all aspects of pleasure craft shipping – especially in Croatian waters – are traditionally at the forefront,” said the SeaHelp Managing Director.

Many visitors came to us this year with specific questions about the current legal situation in Croatia, and every single visitor was able to be assisted. The SeaHelp Managing Director was particularly pleased with the “plenty of praise for our emergency teams.”

Dauser: “Many visitors told us about their experiences over the last few seasons – and that the operations had ‘run perfectly’ and the members who had needed help were ‘totally satisfied.’ It is quite clear to us that we will be back again next year when the Austrian BoatShow – Boot Tulln opens its doors to visitors again from February 25 to 28, 2027.”
