Cancellation of boot Düsseldorf: Visit SeaHelp instead in Tulln and in Palma.

Boat Düsseldorf 2022 canceled

After the world’s most important water sports fair boot in Düsseldorf had to be cancelled due to the Omikron virus variant in 2022, SeaHelp offers its members and friends to alternatively visit the SeaHelp booth at the upcoming boat shows in Tulln (3. To 6.3.2022) and in Palma (28.4. To 1.5. 2022) .

Many water sports enthusiasts had already booked their tickets for Düsseldorf, and the SeaHelp team had also firmly scheduled the boot in January as a trade fair with its own booth. On December 30, 2021, however, it was then clear that the world’s largest water sports show under indoor roofs can not take place as planned in January 2022.

boot 2022 may not take place as a “supraregional leisure fair”

In a press release from boot on Dec. 30, 2021, it said that further restrictions would apply to events, among other things, due to the spread of the Omikron virus variant in Germany since Dec. 28. Following the meeting of the minister presidents of the German states on the pandemic situation on Dec. 21, 2021, North Rhine-Westphalia had banned the staging of major events with spectators in January; this also affected boot Düsseldorf, which as a “supra-regional leisure trade fair may not take place in 2022 because of the measures adopted by the state government.”

“I ask all those involved for their understanding and support so that we can get back to work together with full force in 2023. The heartfelt thanks of the entire boot Düsseldorf team go to all exhibitors, associations and partners who have stood by our side to date. I am sure that together we will head for a successful boot 2023, after hopefully surviving the crisis”, commented Wolfram N. Diener, CEO of Messe Düsseldorf, on the decision.

SeaHelp offers members and friends two alternative trade fair dates in March and April

For SeaHelp members, friends and interested parties, this means: we will unfortunately not see each other in Düsseldorf this year. Instead, however, SeaHelp can offer two more alternative dates for those interested in attending the fair: SeaHelp will – as things stand – present its services just a month and a half later from March 3-6, 2022 at Austrian Boat Show – BOOT TULLN.

SeaHelp trade show participation is subject to the feasibility of the boat shows

Of course, plans for trade show participation in this second Corana year are also subject to the feasibility of the boat shows – we’ll keep you up to date on that at News. However, one thing is already certain: We are also traditionally planning our participation in Düsseldorf with our own booth for the upcoming boot Düsseldorf next year, the date to note: January 21-29, 2023.
