Fair: Boot Düsseldorf 2021 cancelled due to Corona

Boot Düsseldorf 2021 canceled: Next trade fair date 22.01. - 30.01.2022
After the Austrian Boat Show Boot Tulln, boot Düsseldorf also had to cancel the trade fair, as it is not responsible to hold a trade fair with international participants and guests in closed rooms due to the corona pandemic.

Messe Düsseldorf, as it announced in a press release, decided to cancel boot Düsseldorf to be canceled for 2021. As scheduled in the trade show calendar, the next boot will open its doors from January 22 to 30, 2022.

International trade show boot Düsseldorf not possible due to Corona

Under the current circumstances, it is no longer guaranteed to be held on the planned date in April, says Wolfram N. Diener, CEO of Messe Düsseldorf: “The continuing high incidence of infection and the end of the lockdown, which is not foreseeable for the time being, make a resumption of trade fair operations at the end of April seem increasingly unrealistic.

Reassessment of Corona situation led to cancellation

We have re-evaluated the situation with our partners and jointly decided to cancel boot 2021 early. Our priority is the health and planning security of our exhibitors, visitors and service providers. All activities will now be focused on the successful staging of boot 2022.”

Boot Düsseldorf 2022 with a new face

The goal, he said, is to return to the concept of boot Düsseldorf both as an event for all water sports enthusiasts and as a business and networking platform for the international trade audience. For 2022, the company said it is also working on a hybrid trade show experience that will, among other things, enable digital participation in seminars and events at boot Düsseldorf.

Austrian Boat Show boot Tulln also canceled

Following Austria Boat Show Boot Tulln, the second major water sports trade show in Europe has thus also been canceled because the corona situation does not allow many people from different nations to meet in closed halls.
