In three months it starts: Preparations for the world’s largest yacht and water sports trade fair boot in Düsseldorf are in full swing

The major European water sports trade fairs in Cannes, Monaco, Genoa and Southampton are barely over, and the Interboot in Friedrichshafen has also closed its doors, when the boating industry is already preparing for the next highlight: with over 200,000 visitors from more than 100 countries and 1,500 exhibitors on 220,000 square meters in Halls 1 to 17, boot 2025 Düsseldorf (#boot2025) from 18 to 26 January 2025 is the largest yacht and water sports trade fair in the world. As usual, SeaHelp will of course also be represented with its own stand in Hall 10 (Stand B56) in Düsseldorf.

The first major boat show of the year is already casting its shadow: guests are well advised to plan their visit now and, if necessary, arrange accommodation in Düsseldorf. The Ticketshop der boot Düsseldorf 2025 has been open since 18 September. And for boot.club members there is already a special offer: for the price of a one-day ticket of 19 euros for boot.club members, they can visit boot 2025 on two days of the fair.

The BID- blue innovation dock is a dialog format with political, economic, technological and media expertise in Hall 10 – not far from the SeaHelp stand (Stand B56)

Attractive stage programs with the stars of the scene, current trends and a top-class mix of workshops and hands-on activities, both for recreational athletes and experts, make the trade fair unique worldwide. Marine conservation and innovative, sustainable technologies will also be in the spotlight at boot 2025. In cooperation with the European Boating Industry (EBI), the blue innovation dock offers a unique dialog format with political, economic, technological and media expertise in Hall 10.

Other highlights at boot 2025: anyone who has always wanted to set sail, young people or whole families who want to get on a boat together are in the right place in Hall 15 with the “Sailing Plaza” and the boot “Sailing School”. Here there are tips for beginners, boat and cruise advice and the chance to practise your first tacks in the sailing basin under the guidance of experienced sailing instructors. Sailing professionals will also feel very much at home here, as the close partnership with the associations and class associations actively supports regatta sport.

Motorboat fans are in the right place in Hall 3: the new “Boating Plaza” is all about motorized water sports

The “Boating Plaza”, supported in cooperation with the German Motor Yacht Association (DMYV), invites motorboat fans to Hall 3. Here there will be information for beginners about the various types of boats and engines and the boating license classes. Exhibitors with motorboats and fishing boats will be grouped around the “Boating Plaza” in the “Sportfishing Center”.

Of course, trade visitors who secure a B2B ticket will also benefit from the services offered by the trade fair: The meeting point for the superyacht industry is the exclusive lounge in the Super Yacht Show in Hall 7a. In addition, there will be time for networking with exhibitors and experts at numerous happy hours during boot.

“We have launched a new promotion for newcomers: Anyone who has obtained a German recreational boating license from our partners Deutscher Segler-Verband (DSV), Verband Deutscher Sportbootschulen (VDS) and Deutscher Motoryachtverband (DMYV) between January 2024 and January 2025 will receive a free one-day ticket for boot 2025,” explains boot Director Petros Michelidakis.

Interested parties can simply download a free reservation confirmation from the ticket store at boot.de. This can then be exchanged for a valid day ticket at the ticket offices when visiting boot.

New: Caravan fans can park their motorhome for 25 euros / day at a specially set up Caravan Center on P1

“For all camping fans, especially surfers who arrive with their van or camper van, we are setting up a surf camp in our Caravan Center on parking lot P1. The parking space there costs only € 25.00 per day” says the boot Director and adds “we have also included everything important about boot Düsseldorf 2025 in a newly developed trade fair app (iPhone & Android), so that everyone can plan their day of visit individually on their smartphone.”.

Mark your calendars now: As in previous years, the SeaHelp stand is clearly visible in Hall 10 Stand B56, – visitors simply look for the large yellow SeaHelp balloon in the middle of the hall.
