On the initiative of the Association of German Yacht Charter Companies (VDC) and in cooperation with the online booking portal for berths mySea, families in Croatia will receive discounts on berths and national park fees in the coming 2025 season – making the next cruise even more relaxed and, above all, a little cheaper. A practical feature: the SeaHelp app includes a direct link to mySea.
MySea – Service of Euminia GmbH, based in Kressbronn, Germany, is, according to its own information, the “leading app for berth bookings and a comprehensive area guide”.
The mySea app is available free of charge (for iOS and Android) and on the corresponding websites, berths in marinas, in buoy fields and at restaurant jetties can be booked online. “And always at the best price with just a few clicks!” promises company director Axel Düllberg: “While other sailors have to come to a harbor early to get a berth, mySea users simply have more time for a relaxed cruise.”
Since July 2018, tickets for all Croatian nature and national parks that are located in the sea can also be purchased online via mySea, at the preferential price of the advance booking offices. This means that you can conveniently buy your ticket from the cockpit and save yourself the hassle of going to the advance booking office, says Düllberg.
In addition to offering berth bookings, mySea also includes an up-to-date guide to the area with information on ports, bays, anchorages, restaurants and gas stations (selection). Insider tips and comments, ratings and pictures round off the service. mySea is currently available for Greece, Croatia and Turkey.
mySea is now offering a “Club of 15%” for families
mySea is now offering a “Club of 15% – Your key to exclusive discounts in marinas, restaurants, national parks and much more”. The motto: “Sail through Croatia with discounts that make every family adventure more affordable”.
“The ‘Club der 15%“ is a mySea initiative launched in partnership with Croatian mooring partners to offer exclusive discounts to families and ensure that their plans to explore Croatian waters remain within reach in 2025,” according to my-sea.com.
“We want to support families and are happy to help ease the burden on our customers with this measure,” explains Christian Zaloudek, president of the Association of German Charter Companies (VDC).
The initiative is aimed particularly at so-called “one-pocket” customers, for whom rising costs place a greater burden on the budget. The discounts are intended to enable families to spend unforgettable days on the water and enjoy the beauty of the Croatian coast to the full.
A family is defined as a group consisting of immediate family members such as parents, children, grandparents or siblings. However, up to two guests who do not belong to the family (e.g. friends or relatives) may participate in the trip. And: the group must include at least one person under the age of 22 (up to the age of 22).
Discounts are available for monohulls up to a maximum length overall of 14 meters.
Discounts are available for sailing and motor boats up to 14 meters in length overall, but only for monohulls (pleasure craft designed and equipped for recreational purposes). These must be moored for at least one night during the trip.
The skipper must confirm the family composition in advance via the mySea platform, then there is a 15% discount on the mooring fee (or ticket price or restaurant bill) for all bookings made through mySea with partners participating in the initiative.
Please note that the discount only applies to mooring fees in the marina; other services (such as electricity, water, waste disposal, environmental fees, etc.) will be charged at the usual rates. The entrance fee for participating in nature and national parks will be automatically reduced. Restaurants will deduct the family discount from the bill.
Attention: the discount is only valid from April to October 2025
And: the initiative only applies to bookings made during the promotional period from April 1 to October 31, 2025, subject to the availability of moorings, according to mySea. The online booking platform also reserves the right to change or discontinue the promotion at any time after prior notice.
Sea-Help members benefit from the discount campaign with the practical, free SeaHelp app, because it provides a direct link to mySea – making online booking of berths and other services easy.
