The most important European season-opening trade fair in spring is the Palma International Boat Show (PIBS); the 41st edition will traditionally run from April 30 to May 3, 2025, in the port of Moll Vell in Palma. It’s worth a visit, because SeaHelp will once again be on hand with its own booth to provide advice, and new members save ten percent on their first annual membership fee. The first ten existing SeaHelp members who register will also receive free entry.
Organized by the Institute for Business Innovation (IDI) and the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA), the International Boat Show in Palma has long since become one of the most important European hubs for leisure boating, bringing together more than 270 companies every year to present around 250 current boat models in their natural element, the water.
In addition to new boats and yachts, superyachts are also traditionally exhibited in Palma.
In addition to new boats and yachts, equipment and nautical services, the trade fair also offers a large exhibition of superyachts, i.e. yachts between 24 and 60 meters in length, as well as an area for boat repair and maintenance companies.
Other industries presenting their services during the five days of the show include electronics, navigation and communication systems, nautical equipment, water sports, marinas, marine engines and generators, jet skis and quads, as well as providers of nautical tourism services.
SeaHelp experts provide information about areas and advise on insurance issues at their own stand, number B-20
SeaHelp, Europe’s largest nautical breakdown service, traditionally uses the trade fair in Palma to professionally inform and advise interested parties and members at its own stand (this year at number B-20) during the entire duration of the fair.
Insurance expert Robert Perger will be advising, among other things, on the advantages of insurance protection for yachts through the affordable SeaHelp insurance and, if requested, will calculate the favorable premiums on the spot without obligation. And: anyone who decides to apply for SeaHelp membership directly at the trade fair will save money: new members receive a ten percent discount on their first annual membership fee.
The first ten SeaHelp members will receive a free ticket for the Boat Show
In addition, SeaHelp staff will be on hand to provide advice on nautical and legal developments in the areas, give tips on planning trips and provide the new, free SeaMagazine 2025. As a special service, the first ten existing SeaHelp members will receive a free ticket – just send an email to mallorca@sea-help.eu, and the ticket will be sent to you immediately by email as a PDF.
