At the beginning of the year, the first hull cleaning machine in Croatia started operating. The convenience and effectiveness of the process entirely eliminate the need for toxic antifouling paint!

Drive-In Boatwash® caters for both motor and sail boats up to 16m , 4.5 m breath and 2.4 m draught

The whole process of this innovative technology can be described through 5 simple points:

QUICK: a boat cleaning takes only 10 – 20 minutes, thus a SAIL IN – SAIL OUT takes only 15 – 20 minutes!

EFFICIENT: Even the toughest fouling is removed in a matter of minutes

INEXPENSIVE: When you look at a 5 year period, you will save approx. 50%.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY: Debris removed from the hull of the boat falls into a large basin located underneath the machine, that debris is toxic and contains micro-plastic. Periodically we clean the basin and dispose the waste in an environmentally friendly way.

NO CHEMICALS: It is a mechanical removal of fouling from the hull of the boat. Six rotating brushes move from the bow to the stern and back, leaving behind a completely clean hull below the waterline.

How does: it work?

  • The boat is moored in the U-shaped dock
  • Six rotating brushes made from high density polymer automatically adjust to the hull
  • Brush pressure is hydraulically controlled
  • The machine is operated by handheld remote control
  • The brushes move back and forth along the length of the boat, removing all fouling
  • Fouling is collected in a large basin underneath for disposal
  • No chemicals are used and the whole process takes about 15-20 min. in total.

Our recommendation:

Perfect setup would be to take your boat out of the sea one more time, paint epoxy primer directly on gelcoat and then regularly clean your boat (once a month or once in two months…depending on the sea temperature and fouling). When you look at a 5 year period, you will save approx. 50% on cranes, dry dock, paint and all the hard work you have to put in to keep your boat clean.

Epoxy primer is there to protect your boat in the long run, you can clean your boat even if you don’t put epoxy primer on, brushes WILL NOT DAMAGE the gelcoat in any way.

Our highly trained technicians are there to watch every step of the wash and your boat is 100% safe during the wash.

Cleaning of propellers

Also, we offer an innovative solution for cleaning your propellers and flaps on any boat – our diver uses a cavitation pistol which removes all the fouling.

Also, diver can change your zinc protectors, if needed. For our members, diver services are free of charge (once a year). You can see the results before and after cavitation cleaning below. This will add some time until your boat is perfectly clean, but you will be very satisfied with the result.

If your boat does not meet the specifications for machine cleaning, the whole cleaning process can be done with a diver and cavitation pistol.

For all SeaHelp members we offer a 10% discount for all single washes and for any type of the boat.
