After the world’s most important water sports fair boot in Düsseldorf had to be cancelled due to the Omikron virus variant in 2022, now the Boot Tulln (3 to 6 March 2022) is also cancelled. SeaHelp offers its members and friends to alternatively visit the SeaHelp booth at the next boat show, the Palma International Boat Show in Palma (4/28 to 5/1/2022).
After it became clear at the end of December ’21 that the world’s largest indoor water sports show, boot in Düsseldorf, would not be able to take place in January 2022 as planned, the Austrian Boat Show has now also been cancelled.
Fair events in Austria currently prohibited
A press statement from Boot Tulln said that “according to the current legal situation, trade fair events in Austria are prohibited.” The “hoped-for easing of the pandemic situation” is “no longer in sight”, therefore “a timely relaxation of the regulations is not (no longer) to be expected”.
Due to the planning security that the fair wanted to guarantee its exhibitors and partners, it was “with a heavy heart” that the organizers of Boot Tulln had to announce that after 2021, the Austrian Boat Show would now also be suspended in 2022 and would not take place again until next year.

SeaHelp offers members and friends alternative trade show date in April
For SeaHelp members, friends and interested parties this means: unfortunately we will not see each other in Düsseldorf or Tulln this year. However, SeaHelp can offer an alternative date for interested trade show visitors instead – subject to the situation easing by then.
SeaHelp still plans to present its services just under two months later at the Palma Boat Show, which this year is scheduled for April 28 to May 1, 2022.

SeaHelp staff will be in Palma to provide information about services, answer questions about membership and cruising grounds, provide advice about SeaHelp Insurance and have the new, free SeaMagazine 2022 available.
