The countdown for the world’s largest yacht and water sports fair is on. Sport skippers from the German-speaking region should already mark the date in the calendar red – and not only because Europe’s largest breakdown service at sea, SeaHelp, will again be represented with its own large stand.

According to its own statements, boot Düsseldorf 2024 is heading for a top result. Many of the international market leaders will be back on board from Jan. 20-28, the show’s management promises, and the world’s largest yacht and watersports show is building on its “excellent pre-pandemic result.”

Boat as world’s leading industry show

“We have had very successful discussions with manufacturers over the summer months and are experiencing great enthusiasm and anticipation for boot 2024. We will also be able to welcome back brands that had taken a break this year in January,” says Wolfram Diener, head of the trade fair. In particular, he said, a “very high internationality of exhibitors” is emerging. This means that boot is once again positioning itself as the “world’s leading trade fair for the sector”.

In 16 exhibition halls there is an abundance of motor boats with classical and alternative drives to see, luxury yachts of prominent manufacturers, sail yachts – from the dinghy to the large yacht, dipping accessories, Kanus and kayaks, boards, houseboats and in the Destination Seaside the whole range of dream vacation areas at the water. SeaHelp has already completed a virtual tour in advance and gives tips for the individual areas of the exhibition.

In addition to boats, diving is traditionally a pillar of boot and is located in part of Halls 11 and 13, as well as in Hall 12. “Diving enthusiasts will find everything their heart desires here, and everything that has rank and name in the industry will show up here. Instructors provide information on how to get started in underwater sports and advise on the purchase of suitable equipment or suitable diving destinations,” says Christian Hruschka, responsible for diving, technology and tourism in the boot team.
