The SeaHelp mission boats of the latest generation have already proven their reliability in operation in Croatia for years. Nenad Kapuc, Managing Director of SeaHelp-Ostsee GmbH: “Especially under the harsh weather conditions that prevail in the Baltic Sea, it is extremely important in many emergency situations to have a particularly robust, powerful boat in order to be able to provide assistance even more efficiently.
The technical data are impressive: The two Yamaha outboards (V6), each with 300 HP, take the RIB to a maximum speed of 48 knots. The range is 350 nautical miles thanks to the 530-litre petrol tank. The equipment is also impressive: Including a thermal imaging camera, everything is on board that is necessary for the professional, technical assistance operations of the SeaHelp crew.
At the same time, the mission boat is of course also available as a test vehicle. A new type of antifouling film was applied even before the first watering, which has to prove its suitability in the tough everyday life of the SeaHelp emergency boat, even at higher speeds. We will of course report on the results.
