After some important fairs like boot Düsseldorf and the boat show in Tulln had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, the situation for boat shows is now starting to get back to normal. One of the important season-opening shows this spring is the Palma Boat Show (with superyacht section), which runs again at the beginning of the season from 28.4. to 1.5.2022 in Palma’s Moll Vell harbor. SeaHelp is on site with its own booth and advises, new members save ten percent on the first annual membership fee..
The upcoming edition of the International Boat Show of Palma will run again this year, as in pre-Corona times at the usual date before the start of the season: from 28 April to 1 May 2022 in the port of Palma “Moll Vell”.
Organized by the Institute for Business Innovation (IDI) and the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA), this year the International Boat Show in Palma will be a special hub for leisure boating, as many new boats and yachts and other products of the nautical industry can be presented to the public in Palma for the first time after the pandemic.
In addition to new boats and yachts, superyachts are traditionally exhibited in Palma
In addition to new boats and yachts, equipment and nautical services, the fair already traditionally features a large exhibition of superyachts, yachts over 24 to 60 meters in length, as well as an area for boat repair and maintenance companies.
Other industries showcasing their services over the five days of the fair include electronics, navigation and communication systems, nautical equipment, water sports, marinas, marine engines and generators, jet skis and quads, and nautical tourism providers.
The experts from SeaHelp will be providing information on cruising grounds and advice on insurance issues at their own stand number C59
Europe’s largest nautical breakdown service SeaHelp is also taking advantage of the fair in Palma to provide professional information and advice to interested parties and members at its own stand (number C59). SeaHelp staff members Karol Vojtech, Robert Perger and Simon Perger will be on site throughout the fair.
Among other things, the experts will advise on the benefits of insurance cover for yachts via the favorable SeaHelp-Insurance and calculate premiums on request on site without obligation – from now on also with a so-called engine breakage clause. Those who decide to apply for SeaHelp membership at the show will save money: New members will receive a ten percent discount on their first annual membership fee.
Also free for non-members: the new SeaMagazine 2022 is available to take away at the booth
SeaHelp staff will also be on hand to advise on nautical and legal innovations in the cruising grounds, provide tips for cruise planning and keep the new, free SeaMagazine 2022 on hand.
Last year’s Palma International Boat Show, held in early June due to corona in 2021, featured a total of 227 exhibitors and more than 185 boats in an exhibition area of more than 80,000 square meters.
