The Austrian BoatShow – Boot Tulln 2024 starts on Thursday, February 29, and one of the focal points of this year’s trade fair is electromobility on the water. E-boats have experienced a significant upswing in recent years; the industry is increasingly focusing on green and sustainable technologies. SeaHelp will also be back in Hall 6, providing information about its wide range of services – it’s well worth a visit!

Experts have long been certain that the future on the water is electric. Or as the exhibition management of the Austrian Boat Show / Boot Tulln, which starts on Thursday, puts it: “environmentally friendly watercraft embody the future of shipping and stand for a harmonious combination of luxury and sustainability”. SeaHelp recognized this trend early on and presented the most important pioneers in the industry in loose succession.

Now visitors to Austria’s most important water sports trade fair can see some of the electrically powered sports boats for themselves: in addition to the 360 exhibitors from 16 nations who will once again be presenting the entire world of water sports in the halls of Messe Tulln at the end of February / beginning of March, well-known shipyards and domestic boat manufacturers will be giving an overview of the electric boats already available on the market in Hall 3. SeaHelp names the most important ones:

X-Shore 1

Scandinavian design with German propulsion technology, shown by Top Yacht

The completely silent electric boat from Stockholm is 100% electric and the 125 kW electric motor is powered by a 63 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The X Shore 1 has a range of 93 kilometers at low speeds and reaches a top speed of 55 km/h.
The Stuttgart-based company Bosch equipped the X Shore 1 model with its largest electric motor for leisure boat applications as well as with the Bosch inverter and the gearbox developed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Together, these components offer maximum performance, low noise, reliability and compactness – fully in line with the X Shore vision of developing and manufacturing genuine high-performance electric boats.

The batteries can be recharged from 20-80% in just 1.5 hours with a 22.5 kW charger, while fast charging is possible in 50 minutes with a 45 kW charger. In addition, a 7 kW charger with a lower output requires just over 4 hours. SeaHelp will be presenting this boat in detail here soon.
